Netoplay reduces HR workload by 40% using Zoho People
The company
Netoplay is a software solutions company for gaming providers established in 2016 and headquartered in Haifa, Israel. The company specializes in developing customizable platforms that support the launch and expansion of new enterprises and initiatives in the gaming industry. Netoplay's solutions cover every key aspect, from management and marketing tools to client retention systems. Tailored to the client's needs and fully compliant with regulatory requirements, Netoplay platforms enable their partners to deliver a high-quality gaming experience—giving them a competitive edge in a constantly evolving industry.
The challenge
The company's HR operations were divided between several platforms; employee data and personal files were stored on Mega, while core HR processes—such as attendance tracking, leave management, and additional documentation—relied on Excel spreadsheets and were updated manually. Although familiar and reliable, these tools added unnecessary complexity. They also didn't interact with each other, which meant every update had to be done manually several times across different platforms. To support future expansion and streamline their current HR activities for around 50 employees, Netoplay sought to replace its fragmented system with a smarter, unified option.
The solution
Having already adopted Zoho Mail in the company, transitioning to another Zoho solution was the logical next step. Netoplay decided to implement Zoho People , a cloud-based HR solution, which offers them two significant advantages: a seamless integration with the company's email platform and a centralized system for all HR functions. For a successful and efficient implementation, the company turned to Tamayo, a certified Zoho implementation partner specializing in deploying Zoho solutions for mid-market companies and enterprises. Within about a month, the implementation process was complete, and the entirety of Netoplay's HR activities were being managed through Zoho People.
Once the system was fully deployed, the company used the platform's built-in automation and self-service features to support core HR functions. Leave requests, for example, are submitted directly through the platform and automatically processed, from submission to approval, which ensures that vacation days are accurately reflected in payroll—with minimal manual intervention. Zoho People also provides each employee direct access to organizational charts, policies, announcements, and their personal files, which contain essential contracts and documents—all through a centralized, user-friendly interface.
"As we kept doing our research, we saw more and more Zoho People features that we wanted to use. The only concern we had was a long and complicated implementation process. But with the local partner, Tamayo, and the Zoho team, the entire process was done in a month—efficiently and hassle free."

Using the Zoho People platform, Netoplay has created an HR management system that streamlines daily operations while reducing their reliance on manual updating. Automated processes and tracking have reduced the time they once invested in data entry by 40%. Internal communication and information flow have improved thanks to easy access to internal announcements, employee records, and company policies. The employee life cycle has also been optimized, with onboarding time reduced by 30% through automated delivery of relevant materials, and performance reviews have become more transparent and structured with built-in two-way feedback between managers and staff.
"It wasn't just about streamlining HR. Zoho People gave us back a lot of the time and effort we spent on spreadsheets and approvals, so we could finally focus on what matters—to take care of our teammates so they can give us their best."
- Melissa Rippa, HR Director, NetoplayLooking forward
Netoplay is satisfied with the results of implementing Zoho People and will continue to rely on it to manage its HR department. Though not seeking to add more Zoho products to its software array at the moment, the company stays updated on new products and features that can support other business functions and provide the option of future expansion.
