Why are some of the chart of accounts in Zoho Books not visible as expense categories in Zoho Expense?

If you are not able to view a few chart of accounts in Zoho Expense, you can configure it to be visible in Zoho Expense. Here’s how:

Note: Only the account types, Expense, Other Expense, and Cost of Goods Sold will be visible as categories in Zoho Expense.

  1. Log in to Zoho Books.
  2. Click the Accountant dropdown on the left sidebar.
  3. Select Chart of Accounts.
  4. Click the Gear icon at the right corner of the account you want to see in Zoho Expense.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Check the box Show as an active account in Zoho Expense.
  7. Click Save.
