What happens when my customer withdraws a dispute?

If your customer agrees to withdraw a dispute, it doesn’t close immediately. The withdrawal must first be reviewed and confirmed by the issuing bank, card network, or National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) which may take some time.

Even if the customer has withdrawn the dispute, you must still submit evidence before the deadline. Banks may consider the absence of evidence as acceptance of liability, which could result in the dispute being lost.

Once the withdrawal is confirmed, Zoho Payments will update the status to Won or Partially Won and the disputed amount will be returned to your account.

Note: Even if your customer withdraws a dispute, it still counts toward your dispute rate.
