Can I configure a different subscription number series for different products?

Yes, you can configure a number series for your product, and every subscription that’s created henceforth with a plan from that product will follow the product’s number series. Here’s how:

• Go to the Products module from the left sidebar.
• Select a product or click + New to create a new product.
• Click Edit.
• Mark the Auto-generate Product Numbers option.
• Enter a Prefix and Next Number.
• Click Save.

The Prefix that you enter will remain constant. However, the Next Number will be incremented by 1 for every subsequent subscription. For example, if your Prefix is Pro and your Next Number is 0001, the subscription numbers would look like: Pro-0001, Pro-0002, INV-003 and so on.

Note: If you enable number auto-generation for this product, the subscription number auto-generation, which you’ve configured in Settings will be overridden. Instead, this product’s number auto-generation will be used for new subscriptions that are created with this product.
